As a hair designer and wig maker, Danyale Cook has worked on many productions both in film and live theatre. Her recent movie credits include hair for The Last Sin Eater and The Whole Truth. She is the owner of Pure Alchemy Salon and the Hair and Makeup Department Manager for Seattle Opera. Opera productions include Wagner's Ring des Nibelungen. She has designed hair and makeup for the past five Young Artists' productions, most recently Britten's Midsummer Nights Dream. Other design credits include hair and makeup for several productions at Opera Idaho, Rimrock Opera, Opera Grand Rapids, Ballet Idaho, and Idaho Shakespeare Festival. Locally Cook has worked for such companies as Village Theatre, Teatro ZinZanni, ACT, Seattle Repertory Theatre, Pacific Northwest Ballet and 5th Avenue Theatre.
